Our solid brass letters & numbers are coated with a double layer of premium lacquer to protect the finish from discolouration. However, like all metals, some natural discolouration may occur over time when exposed to varying amounts of use and environmental factors. Whilst our brass finish will remain beautiful for many years, the lacquered finish cannot be guaranteed unconditionally and we therefore recommend our solid brass letters & numbers be installed in locations with adequate protection from the elements, ideally under a roof, portico or similar.

By regulation, our solid brass letters & numbers must not be installed in exterior locations within 4km of any ocean or river, as high-salinity environments may cause corrosion. Failure to follow these instructions will result in the voidance of your warranty. The Passio Interiors Limited Warranty Policy specifically excludes products not installed in accordance with our instructions.

Our numbers and letters are produced true to the original font proportions. Depending on the selected overall height, individual characters may differ in physical height by approximately 1-5mm. This is normal for most modern typefaces, which use features like cap height, x-height and overshoot to improve readability. If you would like to confirm exact character heights before ordering, please contact us and we can provide a full mockup of your desired signage. We can also produce a uniform-height set on request, where every character is made to the same height, even if this varies from the original font proportions.

You can select preset heights of 10cm, 15cm or 20cm for your set. The dash symbol does not match these heights literally. When 10cm, 15cm or 20cm is selected for the dash, it will be produced to the correct proportion to visually match numbers and letters at that size, rather than measuring 10cm, 15cm or 20cm in height itself. If you wish to purchase a dash on its own, or need to verify its exact dimensions, please contact us and we can assist with a mockup showing the dash size.
